Cahill was another one of Lampard’s teammates who left a few weeks into his managerial reign. The defender joined Crystal Palace after his contract expired. He spent two seasons with the Eagles before joining Bournemouth and retired from professional football last year.

Piazon was Chelsea’s longest-serving player at the time of his departure to Braga for free in 2021. He joined as a teen in 2012 and went on seven straight loans, including Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem. He is still on Braga’s books.
